Susan Hammer (smhammer@bellsouth.net)
Susan has spent the last 20 years working with preschool through elementary-age children.  After serving first as a teacher and then as Director of First Christian Preschool, she has served as Director of Children’s Ministry for First Christian Church of Boca Raton from 1996 to the present.  She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Northwestern Michigan College and the early childhood development CDA credential.  Susan has home educated her daughters Alexandra and Meredith for the past six years, and she loves sharing her creative expertise in children’s literature with students of all ages.  Alexandra, majoring in English Literature at FAU this fall, and Meredith, a high school sophomore, will assist Susan with her classes as well.

Cristi Carothers
Cristi is a former Dance Major and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Address from the University of North Texas. She was a member of the Kilgore Rangerette Collegiate Dance Team, with which she performed all over the nation. Cristi was the Drill Team Director at Liberty Christian High School and also the founder of the LCS Dance Academy in which she taught Kindergarten through 12th grades. She has choreographed performances for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Cotton Bowl Halftime Show in Dallas, Texas. God has given her a love for teaching dance all while encouraging the "performer in all of us".

Reina Avalos
Reina Avalos is a local artist and educator who has been involved with art and community development projects targeting children and youth. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida. Her studies have included sculpture, painting, and printmaking. She is currently completing an internship with The Christian Cultural Development Foundation in Ft. Lauderdale where she is working with local artist-missionaries.

Sherry Boharic (creekkids@bellsouth.net)
Sherry has her Bachelors degree in Elementary and Special Education from Trinity College. She has also earned a Masters degree in the areas of television and theater from Regent University. Before her biggest productions (Tipper, T & DJ), she worked as senior features producer for Dr. D. James Kennedy on "The Coral Ridge Hour." The past seven years she has built "Stars in the Universe," a performing arts program for home educated children ages 5 - 18, producing musicals, dinner theater, one-act productions, and workshop instruction.

Ana grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she studied Fine Arts at I.U.N.A. (Instituto Universitario Nacional de Arte) at Recoleta City, in Buenos Aires She has been a Christian since the age of 9. Ana has experienced the Mission World, by working with an International Team in England and Spain. She believes it is a blessing and honor for her to be able to work with your children. She desires to instill an appreciation for the arts while teaching Christian values and to reveal and develop each child's God given gift of creativity.

Mark Zimmer
Mark, a native Floridian, has obtained a degree in Music along with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Palm Beach Atlantic University. For the past ten years he has served in ministry locally and internationally with several worship teams as an instrumentalist and worship leader. His passion for music and heart for missions has led him to Central and South America as well as Europe. More recently, he has been featured as an instrumentalist on several worship albums and has been involved in studio recording and live sound engineering. As a private instructor, he is currently teaching guitar, bass and percussion.
